The trailer for the final episode of the drama ‘Ehd e Wafa’, in collaboration with ISPR, has been released on social media.
In trailer, the Indian wing commander Abhinandan arrested in Pakistan has also been shown a conversation with Pakistani Major (Humayun Saeed). While scenes that touched the heart of the drama have also been made part of the trailer.
Speaking in an interview, director of drama Ehd e Wafa Saifi Hassan said that Abhinandan-based scene was already part of the drama script.
Referring to the surprising entry of actor Humayun Saeed, he said that Humayun was later selected for the role.
Saifi Hassan further said, that an episode of the drama will be aired and the last two episodes after a week’s break will be presented together in cinemas before being broadcast on TV.
Recently, the director has confirmed that the final episode of the play will be screened in cinemas.
The drama serial portrays the everlasting spirit of friendship and love of homeland in a unique way. While the popularity of the drama reached such an extent that ‘Ehd e Wafa’ remained top trend on Twitter after every episode was aired. Due to which it was decided to present the final episode of the play will be screened in cinemas.
The cast of the play includes Osman Khalid Butt, Ahad Raza Mir, Wahaj Ali and Ahmad Ali Akbar, as well as Zara Noor Abbas, Alizeh Shah, Hajra Yamin and Vaneeza Ahmed.
