He asked his mother that if she would have known about the age difference between the two then how would she react. Her mother replied that according to Islam there’s not an issue concerning getting married to a woman older than a man but our society deems it unusual to marry an older one. Openly talking about her intentions she revealed that she never wanted her son to marry an elder girl than him. Zaid Ali is seen amused by her mother’s answer and Yumna is left confused.
