Drama series Hum Kahan Ke Sachy Thay is getting more and more intense with every passing episode. People are just getting done with this too much toxicity of relationships. The drama from the very beginning had undergone criticism for certain aspects. Aswad is continuing emotionally torturing Mehreen and she is silently bearing all the blames and bullshits.
Mehreen has now entered into another state of mind where she has hallucinations about Mashal. Her husband is triggering her to accept the murder of Mashal that she actually didn’t commit. The story because of all these intense situations is getting more toxic and difficult to watch. Social activist and founder of ‘soul sisters’ turned to her Instagram account to showcase her displeasure over Mahira’s role in HKkST. She shared two pictures of Mahira Khan from Humsafar and HKKST. Her character in both of the dramas was of a woman who had to bear this emotional abuse at the hands of her husband.
“Mummy aap Kya keh rahi hain” se “Aswad aap kya keh rahain hain” ka suffer (pun fully intended).— Kanwal Ahmed (@kanwalful) November 28, 2021
10 years of promoting how to STAY “patiently” in (violently) emotionally abusive marriages on the top drama channel with the highest ratings.#SabrKaDIY #HumKahanKeSachayThay pic.twitter.com/6RAIz5YIUy
Kanwal is of the view that from Humsafar to HKKST she’s seen promoting to live patiently in a toxic relationship and encourage people to live in poisonous marriages. Some of the people second her opinion and said that our dramas are still showing the contents of an abusive relationship. These dramas are getting the highest ratings.
Few people are of the view that how Mehreen can take a step for herself when she is an abandoned girl, she is not even financially secure and her insecurities are refraining her to take a stand for herself. People also demanded to convey the message to the director of this drama. Actress Zainab Qayyum commented that they have packed up in August and now it is not possible to change anything from the story. Here are public reviews about this drama.
