Mathira is famous for her outspoken style and the way she presents her opinion on any certain issue without any fear. Recently the talented host and actress did the same with Faysal Quraishi while opening up about her views on Faysal Quraishi’s statement concerning his perception about married actresses. Faysal Quraishi in a recent interview clearly discouraged the married actresses and told that their marriage and kids are the hurdles for the Actresses to get lead roles in dramas after they get married.
Qaid-e-Tanhai actor claimed that he has witnessed that actresses after getting married get distracted from their career. He even has seen Sunita Marshal and Sawaira Nadeem on the set, they kept themselves busy on mobiles looking for their children and instructing maids to do their duty properly.
He further elaborated his point of view by giving the example of Iqra Aziz and claimed that Iqra after her marriage and birth of her son has stopped working in industry because her son needs her. On the other hand, Yasir Hussain is getting projects one after another. On inquiring about the issue Iqra Aziz told Faysal Qureshi that due to her son she is unable to proceed with her career for now. He actually meant that it’s only women who can handle all these things simultaneously, we as men are just earning for the family but actually, all the credit goes to women who are working and maintaining their homes as well.
It seems like his statement really bothered Mathira and she took no time to respond to Faysal’s stance and out a story on Instagram, directly schooling him for his thoughts. She wrote that it’s really sad to hear statements like that.
