Aamir Liaquat’s second marriage to Syeda Tuba Anwar has been the center of attention on social media for a long time, but a few months after the marriage, they are now divorced. Many of you may not know that Aamir Liaquat did not divorce Tuba. Tuba herself approached the court to get rid of Aamir Liaquat and got a ‘Khula’.
Just a few days ago, Aamir Liaquat, in an interview with a magazine, said that he has not divorced Tuba and that she is still his wife and she can come to my house whenever she wants. Aamir Liaquat also confirmed that if she got married secretly, it would turn into Zinnah. And he said that his first two wives are very simple and he does not have bad thoughts about them.
As soon as the video went viral on social media, Syeda Tuba Anwar responded to her ex-husband Aamir Liaquat. She said that we are divorced and she took this decision from the court. She also appealed to Islamic scholars in the country to speak out in favor of women so that they can apply for khula if they are in an abusive or toxic relationship. In Islamic law there is must for husband to sign a document of khula but in Pakistani law there is no need of husband to sign khula papers
In other words if Dr Amir Liaqat Hussain has not signed khula papers then it would not be khula by Islamic law but in Pakistani law it is khula
Once Khula is granted with the knowledge of A.L ..then allegation of Zinnah is absurd….Tuba and Amir reconcile there issue in UC proceeding but after 90 days the UC will issue divorce confirmation certificate…IG/ Ishrat Ghazali adv 03002854142.

In Islam only the one in whose nikah is the wife can give divorce. No court has the sharia authority to act as a husband. Unless the husband doesn’t sign the khulla papers the nikah does exists.
