Salman Iqbal is the founder and CEO of ARY Digital and ARY News channel. He is also the owner of PSL team Karachi Kings. Salman is a media businessman. In the year 2017, Salman Iqbal was listed among the 500 Most Influential Muslims. In 2014, He became the owner of ARY Digital Network after the death of his uncle Abdul Razzak Yaqoob.
Salman Iqbal is also the president of World Memon Organisation. WMO is a non-profit organization and held an international umbrella of humanity through its seven chapters across the World. He is considered one of Pakistan’s most wealthiest entrepreneurs.
On 23rd March 2022, Salman Iqbal was honored with a civil award “Sitara-e-Imtiaz” by the government of Pakistan. Sitara-e-Imtiaz is awarded to him by Arif Alvi who is the current president of the country. The award is given to him for his hard work, devotion, and contribution towards his country.
So in order to celebrate the high civilian award, Salman Iqbal arranged a dinner. Many celebrities were spotted at the event. Sana Javed, Umair Jaswal, Fahad Mustafa, Humayun Saeed, Sunita Marshal, Waseem Badami, and many others were present there. Sajjad Ali also sang live at the event in his melodious voice. The event was truly a star-studded grant celebration.
