Saleem Sheikh is a popular film and television actor. He has been working in the industry since 1970s and was a popular actor of his time. He is the younger brother of veteran actor Javed Sheikh and the popular actor Behroze Sabzwari is his brother-in-law. The whole talented family can be spotted on various occasions having a fun time together.
Initially, Saleem has stepped into the industry as a child star. In his debut drama Shama aired on PTV, he played the role of younger Javed Sheikh’s character in that. Other famous dramas of Saleem are Paranda, Makan, Rahein, Laaj, Adhi Gawahi, Darr Si Jati Hai Sila, Hoor Pari, and various others.
His drama serial Sunehray din which was aired in 1991 on PTV brought him much fame and popularity. This drama serial was made by director Shoaib Mansoor and it still holds a special place in the hearts of audience. The famous films of Saleem include Chief Saab, Sangam, Yeh Dil Apka Huwa, Khulay Asmaan Ke Neechay, and many others.
Saleem tied the knot with Nosheen Saleem who belongs to a non-artistic background in 1999. Saleem and Nosheen has three young and beautiful daughters: Saleena, Nashmia, and Anumta. It is expected that Saleena will soon make her debut in Pakistani drama industry. Recently, the family can be spotted while celebrating a birthday of Nosheen.
