Well here is the ending of our most seen, favorite drama serial “Sang-e-Mah” which was based on the tribes of Pushtoon families in Pakistan. It was a true representation of the hurdles and struggles of people in our society, especially in the rural areas. The location in which this drama was pictured is of the valley named as, Bhogarmang valley which is located near Balakot. Some of its scenes were captured at Gurdwara that is a religious place for sikh community in Nankana Sahib, near Lahore.
This blockbuster serial was released on 9th January 2022 and it was a true representation of our Pakistani tribal customs and traditions. The writer Mustafa Afridi was considered to have a very deep connection with the people who are suffering due to these traditions. This masterpiece is produced by Momina Duraid, who always presents true stories and always try to tell show people that how they can cope with these type of situations.
The main cast of this series includes Nauman Ijaz as Haji Marjan Khan, Samia Mumtaz, Atif Aslam, Kubra Khan, Sania Saeed, and many more famous artists who remain evergreen in the field of the showbiz industry. People all over on internet watched this masterpiece with keen observation. They wanted a happy ending to this mostly seen drama. They all are at one point that Haji Marjaan and Zarsanga should not be killed because they were the heart of that drama.
Work like Sang-e-Mah is highly appreciated in Pakistani community because they see their own image in the form of a serial. They also wanted a happy ending to all the serials but it’s not easy to end each drama with happiness. We have also seen some of the highest-ranking dramas with sad endings and yes! People wept and grooved over the sad endings.
The keyboard warriors are here to fight with the writer, producer, and director for not having their favorite ending. The transcendent tale of love and retribution should not be ended like this. There could be something positive but maybe the reality was like this so we have to accept it. The warriors commented on it as “a very unexpected ending”. Some one others said that “Kitna acha lagta agar Hilmand aa k Haji Marjan ko galay milta”.
Another sad comment is added “why suicide?? Not a good thing to show. Indeed the show was absolutely marvelous, but ending is not as expected”, one more heartbroken netizen said that ‘Whole drama was the best but Haji Marjan and Zarsagns should not have died by suicide which is haram in Islam. Suicide is not a Pashtoon culture”.
