Shahid Afridi started his cricket career at a very young age. He wanted to become a cricketer since childhood. He reveals in one of his interviews that his father was against him becoming a cricketer. But he proved his father’s judgment wrong with his passion and dedication and today he is regarded as one of the best batsmen in the world.
Shahid Afridi married a girl in his village at the young age of 20 years. And he became the father of five daughters after marriage. He keeps pointing out in his interviews that his five daughters are no less than a son. Shahid Afridi also confirmed in his interview that his daughters do not have mobile phones yet and when his daughters have to call a friend, they call from my phone.
