Rakhi Sawant converted to Islam and renamed herself as Fatima in order to marry Adil Durrani, a Muslim man. The couple shared pictures and videos of their wedding ceremony on social media. Initially, Adil Durrani refused to confirm the marriage but later confirmed it. Rakhi Sawant had previously hinted that they had gotten married seven months prior to their public announcement. However, rumors of problems in the marriage soon began circulating online.
While talking to the media, Rakhi said that Adil ended their relationship because of his girlfriend Tanu. Adil ultimately chooses to stay with Tanu. Rakhi said to her that I am going to leave you and live with Tanu. She also claimed that Adil was responsible for his mother’s death, saying that if she had received medical attention in time, she would have lived.
