Salma Zafar is a renowned and accomplished television and theater actress from Pakistan, who achieved global recognition with her highly successful stage play “Bakra Qiston Per.” She has also starred in numerous other popular stage productions, many of which can be accessed on YouTube to this day.

In contrast, her successful television drama series “Yeh Zindagi Hai” also garnered widespread popularity. Her portrayal in the show was highly praised by viewers, however, there were some issues surrounding the project as a few actors alleged that the producers, Javeria Saud and Saud Qasmi, failed to compensate them for their work on the show.
During an appearance on The Insta Show with Mathira, Salma Zafar discussed the matter and revealed that while many individuals had abandoned their work midway, she and a select group of artists continued to remain committed until the very end, providing their support. They had worked together for 7 years and were paid their due compensation initially. However, the unfortunate issue arose when they were not paid for their work at a later stage.

Continuing on, Salma said, “Initially, I held a positive opinion of Javeria and Saud, but today I find myself embroiled in a legal battle for defamation that has been ongoing for three years. Presently, I am out on bail and speaking to you as someone who has been accused of a criminal offense and being a defaulter. I have been labeled as a criminal for speaking out against them, hurling abuses, and tarnishing their reputation.”
