Musicians from Pakistan are widely recognized for their exceptional talent and are currently experiencing a surge in popularity and recognition for their outstanding vocal abilities and beautiful musical compositions. The schedules of many renowned Pakistani singers are fully booked with performances and concerts. In a recent episode of YouTuber Nadir Ali’s podcast, singer Naeem Abbas Rufi disclosed that certain singers from both India and Pakistan demand exorbitant fees for their concert appearances.
During the podcast, Naeem Abbas Rufi disclosed the substantial fees charged by Atif Aslam and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan for their concert performances. Rufi highlighted that these two artists are the only ones in Pakistan who are currently commanding such high levels of compensation.
The singer went on to explain that when performing in the United States, Atif Aslam and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan charge approximately $70,000, which is equivalent to 18.34 million Pakistani rupees. However, if the event is held in Pakistan, their fee increases to around 1 crore rupees or 80 lakhs, which is their standard rate for both concerts and corporate events. Additionally, he revealed that both artists may demand even higher compensation depending on the circumstances.
Rufi also divulged some interesting details about Atif Aslam and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s performance preferences. According to him, Atif Aslam generally does not perform at private events, but if he does, his fees are higher. On the other hand, he noted that Rahat Fateh Ali Khan often sings at weddings.
