During a recent appearance on Fuchsia magazine, Siraj Ul Haque, the director of Geo TV’s highly successful drama Tere Bin, was asked about the similarities between his show and the Indian drama Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon, and how certain scenes from Tere Bin seemed to resemble those from the Indian show. The host questioned whether Haque was inspired by the scenes from the Indian drama or not.
In response to the host’s question, Siraj Ul Haque stated that he had not watched the Indian drama and had only viewed movies, albeit of various genres. He further mentioned that he has been particularly impressed by Yash Chopra’s romantic films. While the scenes may appear similar, he claimed to have been unaware of any resemblance between the two shows.
