She is also very active on social media and actively participates in women’s rights and she even surprised women by driving the bus for the first time at the inauguration of Red Bus (People Bus Service) in Karachi.
In the year 2015, Sharmila Faruqui made the decision to get married and began her married life by marrying Hasham Riaz Sheikh. She has also become a mother to a son. Despite being a politician, Sharmila dedicates ample time to her husband, son, and in-laws, ensuring that her loved ones never feel neglected or that she doesn’t have time for her family.
These days, Sharmila Faruqui is delighting in her life in Sri Lanka alongside her husband and son. The three of them are thoroughly enjoying their family trip and have even shared pictures with Sharmila’s fans. Their adorable little one is also loving some cherished moments with his parents.
